Greetings & welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. My name is Mrs. Jalonda Torbert-Dixon, and I am excited to start my seventh year as an educator at George Washington Carver Elementary School. As a proud Alumni of The Alabama State University, I earned my BS in Physical Education in 2011 and my M.Ed. in Collaborative Education in 2019. As a native of Tuskegee, Alabama, it has been my dream to return to Macon County to educate our future leaders.
